Video: 56-Year-Old Man Detained for Growing and Using Marijuana on His Land

On February 21, officers from the Aparan division of the police, along with traffic police, uncovered another case of drug possession and use. Around 15:30, law enforcement detained a 56-year-old resident of Mashtots Street in his "Skoda" vehicle on Baghramyan Street in Aparan.

During the inspection of the vehicle, they discovered a paper package containing a greenish, uniquely odorous, dried crushed substance. According to the detainee, the plant material is marijuana, which he prepared from cannabis bushes grown on his land for personal use.

Circumstances are being clarified, and an examination has been appointed.
