Regardless of the Referendum Results, the Proud and Dignified Citizen of Armenia Will Win: Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, guaranteed that regardless of the results of the constitutional amendments referendum, the proud and dignified citizen of Armenia will prevail. Pashinyan made this statement during a fundraising event organized by the "Yes" campaign for the referendum on February 25.

"We hope that the results of the referendum will show a victory for 'Yes.' To achieve this, we will make our best efforts and do everything in our power. I can guarantee who will be the winner of the referendum. In that referendum, regardless of the results, the proud and dignified citizen of Armenia will win. This political team will cut its own hands, but will not allow any ballot fraud. I will personally cut my own hands, but I will not allow any ballot fraud," stated Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister announced that he will actively participate in the referendum campaign. "We will start a very intensive campaign soon. I will personally take part in the campaign. I will hold campaign meetings in all cities of the Republic of Armenia. This will be a very important conversation, not only about the text of the proposed constitutional amendments but also about the underlying issues," said Pashinyan.

Nikol Pashinyan added that during the campaign, discussions will also cover those who are willing to give up Artsakh and those who are not, those who love their homeland and those who do not, as well as the thieves and those who are not thieves.
