Major Accident Occurs in Tavush: 4 Dead, 4 Injured
A major accident took place in the Tavush region last night, resulting in 4 fatalities and 4 injuries. Two of the injured have been transferred to Yerevan's 'Saint Astvatsamayr' medical center.
A 7-year-old girl was transported by ambulance with a closed traumatic brain injury, cerebral contusion, fracture of facial bones, and a fracture of the left tibia. She was connected to a ventilator initially, but is now breathing independently.
Additionally, a 5-year-old boy was transferred to 'Saint Astvatsamayr' medical center by rescue helicopter. The child suffered from internal bleeding, with 500 ml of blood in the abdominal cavity, and also has a lung contusion. He was in a state of shock but was operated on after stabilizing his condition.
Georgy Derzdyan, spokesperson for the medical center, informed us that the condition of both children is seriously stable under close medical supervision. Further updates will be provided.
