Tragic Car Accident in Tavush Region: "07" Crashes into MAZ Truck, 1 Dead, 7 Injured

Today, February 24, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 12:40 PM, two vehicles collided on the Berd-Aigedzor highway in the administrative area of Aigedzor village: a VAZ 2107 with license plate 35 GD 855 and a MAZ truck with license plate 094 SО 64.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, 7 individuals were injured in the accident, 2 of whom are in critical condition while the others are diagnosed with serious but stable injuries. They have been transported to a hospital in Berd city. Unfortunately, 1 person died on the spot.

As reported by shamshyan.com, local villagers were the first to provide assistance to the injured. Rescue workers used special equipment to extract the deceased from the vehicle.
