Before the rescuers arrived, passengers of the "VAZ-2107," including Ani A. (born in 1994), Amalya G. (born in 1944), Susanna A. (born in 2006), and Angelina A. (born in 2019), along with Arsen (born in 1990), Manya (born in 2013), and Avag (born in 2015), were hospitalized at the Berd Medical Center. Unfortunately, Ani A., Angelina A. and Amalya G. later succumbed to their injuries. The health condition of the other injured has been assessed by doctors as moderate severity.
The rescuers de-energized the vehicles, closed the valves of the gas cylinders, and cordoned off the area.
