We Don't Need a Lecture, Mr. Minister. We Want Actions - Council Member Ani Khachatryan
Member of Yerevan City Council's 'Luminous' faction Ani Khachatryan wrote on her Facebook page:
"To be honest, we didn't need a lecture, Mr. Minister. We want actions... Yes, and tell the MP that we all know Iran is a friendly country; this is not a revelation. However, being a friendly country and taking steps for the security of one's own country do not contradict each other. Ridiculing citizens who are concerned about their health by the MP and the minister is, to put it mildly, cynical, and this has happened multiple times.
The virus will pass, and we don't take the MP seriously, but the fact that the Minister of Health mocks those worried about their health, and this, again, has happened repeatedly, is alarming.
P.S. We know how to pray, and we will pray, but you, even with prayer, are not protected, Mr. Minister..."
