Gunshots in Ejmiadzin: Suspect is Former Police Employee

Today, a murder involving the use of firearms occurred in the Armavir region, as reported by Shamshyan.com. Around 11:50 AM, the police department in Vagharshapat received a call from the Vagharshapat medical center, informing them that a citizen with gunshot wounds was brought in by the medical staff and had died without regaining consciousness.

Police and investigators discovered that the victim had been transported from Aram Manukyan Street. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the deceased was 36-year-old Gevorg Khalatyan.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Police and investigators found traces of gunfire on the walls of the victim's house. The Armavir regional police have identified Mesrop Kyureghyan as the main suspect in the murder. According to G. Shamshyan, M. Kyureghyan is a former employee of the police.
