VIDEO: Larsi Closed to Trucks, Endless Queue Formed
According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for passenger cars but closed for trucks.
The footage shows the endless queue formed at the Larsi checkpoint. Information from the Russian side indicates that there are 335 trucks piled up on the Russian side of the border.
