Roads Closed and Impassable in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 21 at 15:30, there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region will remain closed for an indefinite period. The Vardenyats pass is closed for trucks and difficult to traverse for other vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable for trucks.

In the Kotayk region, there is fog in the towns of Ashtarak and Talin in Aragatsotn. In the Syunik region, there are patches of black ice on the roads.
