The Prize Money for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Champions Revealed

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, has announced the prize money set by the Armenian government for participants in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Thus, the Olympic champion in Tokyo will receive 20 million drams, the silver medalist will receive 15 million drams, and the athlete who finishes in third place will get 10 million drams.

Additionally, the monthly allowances for Olympic champions have increased to 200 thousand drams, up from 100 thousand drams. Silver and bronze medalists will receive monthly allowances of 140 thousand and 100 thousand drams, respectively. World champions will receive 100 thousand drams a month, an increase from the previous year's 55 thousand drams.
