274 People Have Left the Diamond Princess Cruise Ship

The Diamond Princess cruise ship, which has been under quarantine in Japan due to the coronavirus, saw 274 people disembark today. Health, Labour and Welfare Minister Katsunobu Kato stated, "Today, 274 people have left the ship, all of whom showed no symptoms (of the coronavirus) during the 14-day quarantine, and their tests returned negative results."

On the eve of this, when the two-week quarantine period concluded, the first 443 people who were not infected with the virus at that moment were brought ashore from the ship, as reported by RIA Novosti.
