‘Zhamanak’: The Head of the State Audit Office Successfully ‘Drowns’ Findings from Inspections in Various Structures
‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: “The new government, yielding to the intrigues of former NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan, halted the authorities of the head of the State Audit Office Davit Sanasaryan, initiated a criminal case against him, and appointed Argishti Karamyana as the interim head of the State Audit Office under dubious circumstances, who has amassed wealth at a very young age.
According to ‘Zhamanak’ sources, however, Karamyana does not shine with his professionalism in this system. Moreover, over time, having dismissed Sanasaryan’s cadre and bringing in his own personnel, he successfully ‘drowns’ the results of inspections found in various structures, or it suddenly turns out that there are no problems in the inspected structures. It is said that he is particularly adept at finding common ground with the former officials.”
