Road Conditions as of 08:30 AM

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 19 at 08:30 AM, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region will remain closed for an indeterminate amount of time.

There are patches of black ice on the Sotk-Karvachar and roads in the Syunik region.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks.

According to the information received from the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, there are 250 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
