Araik Harutyunyan Donates Books to Passersby

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Araik Harutyunyan, along with ministry staff, donated newly published books to passersby in front of the Khnko Apor National Children’s Library, near the statue of the 'Reader' in celebration of the occasion.

Following the donation, the minister participated in the already traditional 16th Yerevan Children’s Book Fair and Exhibition at the Khnko Apor National Children’s Library, which featured numerous Armenian publishers and bookstores presenting their collections of children’s literature.

In the fairy-tale hall of the library, as part of the program titled “Ambassadors of the Fairy Tale,” Minister Harutyunyan introduced young readers to Hovhannes Tumanyan's tale “The Dog and the Cat,” after which he engaged with the children, asking questions and responding to their inquiries.
