Protest of Members of the 'Support the Soldier' Initiative in Front of the Government

Members of the 'Support the Soldier' initiative are currently staging a protest in front of the government building, condemning the killings occurring in the military. The initiative has issued a statement on their Facebook page:

“WE CONDEMN the continuous cases of soldiers' killings/suicides in the army.
WE CONDEMN the absence of political and legal assessments regarding these incidents, the passive stance of legitimate authorities, indifference, and silence.
WE CONDEMN the inadequate investigations/hiding of these cases.
WE DEMAND a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the heads of law enforcement agencies immediately after the upcoming government meeting on 20.02.2020, including the Director of the NSS, the Attorney General, the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Military Police, the Chief of the General Staff, the head of the Investigative Committee, and the head of the Special Investigative Service,” the statement reads.
