Syrian Helicopter Shot Down in Aleppo

The SANA agency reports that today, Turkish militants shot down a Syrian military helicopter in the country. According to the information, the incident occurred in Aleppo, in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The helicopter was conducting combat flights near terrorist positions in the Urm al-Kubra settlement.

Earlier, on February 11, a Syrian Mi-17 helicopter was shot down near the settlement of Idlib Nayrab. Some sources state that the attack was carried out by the armed Syrian opposition, but there were also claims that it was the work of the Turkish armed forces.
