World Champion Artem Dalakyan Defends Title for the 4th Time

In Kyiv, three Armenian boxers stepped into the ring and won their matches, reports AnalitikaUA.net. World Champion Artem Dalakyan (19-0, 14 KOs) defended his title for the fourth time in a heated 12-round match against Venezuelan Josber Perez. According to the website, this was Perez's first fight outside South America in his career. Dalakyan successfully defended his world champion title for the fourth time and held his 19th match in Ukraine.

Artem Dalakyan won his title in the USA by defeating American Bryan Villoria. In the undercard of the Union Boxing Promotion fight night, Zoravor Petrosyan knocked out Belarusian representative Nadzir Bakshyiev in the 5th round, while Aram Fanyan won on points against Artyom Ayvazidian in the 8th round.

As previously reported by AnalitikaUA.net, Igor Fanyan, co-founder of Sparta Boxing Promotions, stated that the entry of the club's fighters (Petrosyan and Fanyan) into the ring was accompanied by Armenian music.

It is worth noting that a week ago, Sparta Boxing Promotions representative Karen Chukhajyan (16-1, 7 KOs) defeated Russian Sergey Vorobyov (9-1, 6 KOs) and claimed the WBA International title. As is known, the Union of Armenians in Ukraine pays special attention to sports and supports Ukrainian athletes. Various sports groups are being opened, and awards are presented at sports events by UHM President Vilen Shatvorian.
