Doctor Who Fought Coronavirus for Ten Days Dies from Exhaustion
A doctor from Wuhan, China, Sun Yinczen, passed away after ten days of tirelessly checking the health of drivers and passengers on the road due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. The cause of death was reported to be heart failure attributed to extreme exhaustion, according to Armenpress.
28-year-old Sun had been working at a clinic in Hunan province, which borders Hubei province, the epicenter of the virus outbreak. His responsibilities included monitoring the health status of people traveling by road. Since January 25, he had been dedicating himself day and night to this task. On the morning of February 3, Sun returned to his dormitory and tragically passed away.
His 29-year-old sister, who is currently quarantined in Wuhan, has been living in isolation for two weeks. She blames herself for not leaving the city before it was locked down and feels she could not help her brother during this challenging time.
