Rescuers Discover Bodies of Homeowners

On February 3, at 20:34, the 911 emergency call center received a report that a resident of one of the houses on Abovyan Street in the city of Ejmiadzin, Armavir Province, was not responding to knocks on the door and phone calls. Rescuers were needed to open the door.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. The rescuers opened the door and discovered the body of Garnik A. on the living room floor.

Earlier, at 19:52 on the same day, the 911 emergency call center received another report that a resident of an apartment at 2A Shiraki Street in Yerevan was also not responding to knocks and calls. A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan rescue department was sent to the location. The rescuers opened the apartment door and found the body of Robert T. (born in 1950) on the sofa in the living room.
