Significant Savings Recorded in Procurement Processes: Audit Office

According to the results of studies conducted by the RA State Audit Office at the RA Police, significant financial resources have been saved in the procurement processes organized by the RA Police for various goods and services needed in 2020. This was reported by the RA State Audit Office.

According to the information provided by the Police, the savings in the procurement of these goods, works, and services amounted to:

• 956,272,000 AMD (nine hundred fifty-six million two hundred seventy-two thousand Armenian drams) against the financial resources planned for the procurement of the specified goods, works, and services for the 2020 medium-term expenditure program.
• 505,132,000 AMD (five hundred five million one hundred thirty-two thousand Armenian drams) based on the initial budget prices submitted in the purchase procedures organized for the procurement of the specified goods, works, and services in 2020.

At the same time, it is reported that savings in the RA Police are trending to increase.
