Accident Involving Passenger Car and Ambulance: Hyundai Driver Claims He Did Not Hear or See Signals

An accident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 3:00 PM, at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street, a Hyundai Sonata driven by 52-year-old Parsam P. from Ararat Province collided with a Haise vehicle driven by 50-year-old Atom B. from Yerevan. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary information indicates that fortunately, there were no injuries from the accident.

The Haise vehicle is registered under Yerevan's emergency service, with doctor's brigade 76, led by Doctor Gevorg Paronyan, transporting a patient to a cardiology center. The patient was urgently transferred to the hospital via another arriving ambulance. The ambulance driver stated that the sound and light signals were turned on. However, the Hyundai driver claimed that while they might have been activated, he did not hear the sound nor see the lights.
