One of the individuals in the group was reported to be feeling unwell.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene using an all-terrain vehicle. According to the information provided by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, at 17:30, the group leader, M. Borisenko, informed that the health condition of the Russian citizen in distress had stabilized.
Considering the weather conditions, the rugged mountainous terrain, and the risk of avalanches, search operations will resume on January 25. The search efforts also involve a rescue team from the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center, which will head to Martuni in the evening. If necessary, drone assistance is planned to be utilized.
