Mkhitaryan Celebrates His 31st Birthday

The captain of the Armenian national football team and midfielder for the Italian club Roma, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, is celebrating his 31st birthday.

Mkhitaryan began his football career at Yerevan's Pyunik and has since played for Ukraine's Metalurh, Shakhtar Donetsk, Germany's Borussia Dortmund, England's Manchester United, and Arsenal. His transfer rights are owned by Arsenal; however, he is currently playing on loan at the Italian club Roma.

He is the top scorer for the Armenian national team and has been named Armenia's best footballer eight times. Mkhitaryan is also a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF in Armenia.
