Snowfall in Ijevan and Noyemberyan: Road Conditions as of 08:00

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 20, 08:00, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads within the Republic of Armenia.

The Sotk-Karvachar road and the Vardenyats Pass are closed for trucks and difficult for other vehicles to navigate.

On the roads of Syunik province, there are patches of black ice.

Snowfall is occurring in the towns of Ijevan and Noyemberyan in Tavush province.

In the city of Goris in Syunik province, in the area known as “Meghru Sar,” and on the Sotk-Karvachar road, fog is present.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
