I Will Have the Opportunity to Speak Personally: Arthur Davtyan on Kutoyan's Death Circumstances
Currently, preliminary sufficient data obtained during the investigation points to suicide. This was stated by the former head of the NSS, Georgi Kutoyan, during a press briefing at the funeral, according to the Armenian Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan.
“There has already been a certain level of publicity regarding the case. Indeed, at this moment, the sufficient data obtained during the investigation suggests a suicide. As you already know, a criminal case has been initiated under the characteristics of inciting suicide, but all hypotheses typical of any death will be thoroughly examined,” he said.
The Prosecutor General emphasized that a proper investigation will be conducted in all directions and on all hypotheses, and if any significant circumstances arise during the investigation, he, personally, will have the opportunity to discuss them.
