Rescuers Extinguish Fire in Kachajkut Village

On January 11, at 07:53, the emergency services received a call reporting a fire in a grassland area near Kachajkut village in the Lori region.

Twenty-five firefighters and three support vehicles from the regional rescue administration of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 12:20 and completely extinguished by 17:30. Approximately 50 hectares of grassland were burned.

Fifteen employees from the 'Dsegh Forest Enterprise' branch of 'Hayantar' State Non-Commercial Organization and 22 local residents participated in the firefighting efforts.
