24-year-old man jumps from Kyiv Bridge, dies in hospital
On January 10, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 23:50, the police's operational management center in Yerevan received a report that a citizen had jumped from the Kyiv Bridge.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an emergency medical team arrived at the scene and transported the young man, who was unconscious with polytrauma diagnosed from the Hrazdan gorge, to the Armenia Medical Center. Unfortunately, he passed away at around 00:35 in the resuscitation department without regaining consciousness.
Shamshyan reported that the criminal investigation department of the Mashtots police station conducted operational and investigative measures, revealing that the deceased was 24-year-old M. G., who had been reported missing by the Kotayk police department. The Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan investigation department is preparing materials regarding the incident in the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts.
