There Are Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 10, at 19:40, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, and difficult to navigate for other vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to navigate for freight transport.
In the Tavush region, Dilijan; in the Syunik region, Kajaran and Goris; in the Lori region, Stepanavan and Vanadzor; in Gegharkunik region, Chambarak; in Kotayk region, Hrazdan and Charentsavan; in Shirak region, in the village of Amasia; and in the Syunik region, in the area known as 'Meghry Mountain,' there is snow on the ground.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
