Fire at Student Dormitory Extinguished

On January 10, at 17:40, the emergency service received a call indicating that a fire had broken out in one of the apartments on the 4th floor of building number 14 on Student Street in Vanadzor, Lori Province.

Three firefighting teams and one aerial ladder from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. Residents were evacuated, eight of whom were rescued with the help of the aerial ladder.

The fire was contained by 18:31 and fully extinguished by 19:29.
