Rockfall and Landslide Occurred on the Road to Agavnadzor Village

On January 9, at 18:15, the "911" service received information about a landslide on the road leading to Agavnadzor village in the Vayots Dzor region. An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a rockfall and a landslide (approximately 2-3 cubic meters) had occurred at the 2nd kilometer of the road from the M-2 highway to Agavnadzor village. The road had become one-way.

Using specialized equipment from the "Yeghenadzor Road Management" LLC, the road was cleared and has been restored for two-way traffic.
