Businessman's Apartment Robbed in Vanadzor, Large Sum of Money Stolen

On January 8, a resident of Nairyan Street in Vanadzor, 51-year-old Nune Sargsyan, reported to the police department of Bazum that between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM that same day, an unknown individual or individuals broke into her apartment by opening the balcony door from the outside. They stole approximately 2.5 million drams, 3,300 US dollars, 2,200 euros, and various gold jewelry from the non-flammable safe in her bedroom.

Additionally, the thief or thieves also took 200,000 drams from a cabinet in the living room. A group of officers from the Bazum police department, along with investigators from the Lori regional investigative department and forensic experts from the Lori regional police administration, arrived at the scene.

According to G. Shamsyan, N. Sargsyan is known in Vanadzor as a businessman and the director of a grocery store.
