Ukrainian Boeing 737 That Crashed in Tehran Had Flown Yerevan-Kyiv Route
The Ukrainian Boeing 737 that crashed in Tehran yesterday, January 7, had carried out a Yerevan-Kyiv flight. This information has been reported by Flightradar24.
According to data from the website, the Boeing 737 that met its fate in Tehran had departed from Kyiv to London on January 6, returned from London to Kyiv, and then arrived in Yerevan on the same day before taking off for Kyiv again on January 7. The same aircraft departed from Kyiv to Milan on January 7, returned to Kyiv, and then flew to Tehran. It arrived in Tehran at 00:57 local time.
The aircraft took off from Tehran at 6:12 AM and crashed shortly thereafter. According to official data, the Boeing 737 of 'Ukrainian International Airlines' crashed due to technical issues shortly after taking off from Imam Khomeini International Airport. The flight was headed for Kyiv. There were 167 passengers onboard along with the crew, all of whom perished in the crash.
