VIDEO: Turkish Website Calls Stunning View of Mount Ararat 'Bride's Veil'

The highest mountain in the Armenian Highlands, located in Turkey's Ağrı Province, Mount Ararat has been completely covered in snow, reports ermenihaber. On December 27, following the snowfall, the weather turned sunny around noon, revealing a breathtaking view.

The clouds gathered at the summit of Ararat took on the shape of the mountain's peak. The Turkish media outlet that captured the scene described it as the 'Bride's Veil.' Mount Ararat, located just 32 kilometers from the Armenian state border, is blanketed in snow from an elevation of 2000 meters up to its summit.

Often referred to as the 'Roof of Turkey,' it is notable that the Turks have altered the name of Mount Ararat on their maps and reference it as Ağrı Dağı. The heights of the Great and Little Ararat peaks are 5165 meters and 3925 meters, respectively.
