Major Fire Near Cemetery

On December 30, at 08:23, the «911» service received a report that a barn was burning near the cemetery known as «Kongo» in the city of Vanadzor, Lori Province.

Three fire and rescue teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that near the end of the 2nd dead end of Narekatsi Street, approximately 1200 bales of animal feed were ablaze.

The fire was contained by 09:20 and extinguished by 16:40. A total of about 1200 bales of animal feed were completely burned.
