16 and 17-Year-Old Teenagers Stabbed in Martuni
On December 29, at 01:45, the Martuni police department received a report from a hospital that two teenagers, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, had been admitted with stab wounds. The 16-year-old was diagnosed with "cut and puncture wounds to the front surface of the chest and the right arm," while the 17-year-old had "cut and puncture wounds to the head, temporal area, and the front wall of the left side of the chest." They reported that unknown individuals had assaulted them.
Thanks to operational investigative measures, it was found that the injuries were inflicted by three young men aged 19 to 20. As a result of explanatory work, the young men presented themselves to the police station on the same day at 13:45 and provided confessional statements. The weapon used in the crime, a knife, has been seized.
The investigation is ongoing.
