Firefighters Extinguish Wildfires

On December 27, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received three reports about wildfires covering approximately 200 square meters or more in various grassland areas of the republic.

Specifically, a fire along the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway in the Lori province covered 70 hectares, while in the city of Goris in the Syunik province, it affected 2500 square meters, and another fire along the Goris-Yerevan highway covered 30 hectares.

The firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the blazes.
