BMW Crashes into Tree After Leaving Road on Martuni-Sevan Highway, Injuries Reported

On December 26 at 23:19, the "911" service was notified that an accident occurred near the market in the village of Getashen in the Gegharkunik region, with casualties reported. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A rescue team from the regional rescue department responded to the scene. It was determined that at the 5th kilometer of the Martuni-Sevan road, a BMW vehicle (driver: Shiraz A., born in 1983) had left the traffic lane, entered a forested area, and collided with a tree.

Before the rescuers arrived, the passengers of the vehicle, Razmik A. (born in 1994) and Artak A. (born in 1985), were transported to the Martuni Hospital by bystanders, where doctors assessed Artak A.'s condition as serious, while Razmik A.'s condition was deemed satisfactory.

The rescuers disabled the vehicle and closed the gas cylinder valve.
