Rescue Workers Halt Firefighting Efforts Near Yeghgnut Village

On December 26, at 07:30, firefighting operations resumed at kilometer 15 of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway, near Yeghgnut village. A firefighting unit from the regional rescue service, along with an operational group and 22 firefighters, was dispatched to the scene.

At 18:06, firefighting efforts were halted, and forestry workers have established a watch duty. Approximately 70 hectares of grassland are affected by the fire.
