Police Officer's Nissan Collides with Ambulance, Doctor Hospitalized
On December 25, an accident occurred in the Lori province. Around 15:10, a collision took place near 86 Yerevanyan street in the town of Tashir between a Nissan with license plate 34 CT 397, driven by 48-year-old Melikset Martirosyan, a resident of Tashir, and an ambulance vehicle with license plate 309 LO 61, driven by 43-year-old Albert Jilavyan, a resident of Stepanavan.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, a passenger of the ambulance, 56-year-old Fryaz Avdalyan, a resident of Tashir, was hospitalized with injuries at the Tashir Medical Center.
As reported by G. Shamshyan, the ambulance is registered under the Tashir Medical Center, and the injured individual works at the same medical facility as an emergency doctor. Meanwhile, the driver of the Nissan works for the Republican Police's Tumanyan division.
