Body Discovered in Canal: Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that on December 26 at 12:08 PM, the "911" service received a call regarding the discovery of a male body in the Artashatyan Canal in the Ararat region.

Emergency response teams from the regional rescue administration and a firefighting unit were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers determined that the body was located at the beginning of the summer cottages in the village of Nor Kyurin, in the Artashatyan Canal (approximately 2 meters deep).

The body of Aleksan J. (born in 1963) was retrieved by the rescuers.
