VIDEO: How the First Passenger Train Rides Across the Crimean Bridge to Russia
RIA Novosti has released footage of the first passenger train crossing the Crimean Bridge. The video shows the train passing under arches illuminated in the colors of the Russian flag.
The 'Tavria' train, which departed from St. Petersburg, is expected to cover 2,741 kilometers in 43.5 hours. Only five single-decker trains will operate on this route.
Earlier, Ukrainian authorities sent a note of protest to official Moscow.
