Mother of 'Bread Bringer' Passes Away
The mother of Arthur Sargsyan, known as the 'Bread Bringer,' Donara Sargsyan, has passed away. This was reported by the Facebook page of the 'Sasna Tsrer' pan-Armenian movement.
"We sadly learned of the passing of the esteemed son of the Armenian people, Arthur Sargsyan's mother, Mrs. Donara Sargsyan. The wake will take place today at 5:00 PM at the 'Gor' mourning hall in Shahumyan, located at Silikyan Old Highway, Building 37. Details regarding the funeral will be shared separately. The members of the 'Sasna Tsrer' group and the 'Sasna Tsrer' pan-Armenian party express their deepest condolences to the relatives of the deceased," the post reads.
It is noteworthy that in July 2016, the 'Sasna Tsrer' group seized the territory of the police regiment. Arthur Sargsyan broke through the police barricade in Erebuni with his personal vehicle and delivered food to the 'Sasna Tsrer' members who had been on-site for 10 days. Arthur Sargsyan was arrested and charged with assisting the 'Sasna Tsrer' group. In December, the court changed his detention order and released him. However, on February 9, the court again altered the measure of restraint and remanded him for two months.
It's also important to remember that Arthur Sargsyan participated in the Artsakh Liberation War and sustained a gunshot wound while delivering food to the positions.
