At Least 26 People Killed in Bus Accident in Indonesia
At least 26 people have died in Indonesia after a passenger bus fell into a ravine in South Sumatra province. This was reported by the Bernama agency.
According to a representative from the local police, "The bus went off the road, fell into a ravine 150 meters deep, and landed in the Lematang River." The bus, carrying 50 passengers, was en route from the city of Bengkulu on the western coast of Sumatra to Palembang.
The injured have been taken to the hospital, with some suffering severe injuries.
