VIDEO: Over 10 Theft Cases from Car Wash Stations Uncovered

Recently, several reports of personal property theft were received at the Armavir division of the police. The targets were car wash stations known as 'Wash It Yourself'. Various amounts of money had been stolen from the cash registers.

Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Armavir division, through operational measures and analysis of the circumstances of the incidents, obtained factual data indicating that the thefts had been committed by the same individual. This concerns a 25-year-old resident of Armavir city.

The suspect was identified and detained on December 18, and during a personal search, cash, a screwdriver, masks, and other items were found. The detained individual confessed to committing thefts from the car wash stations.

Further measures revealed that the 25-year-old had committed thefts not only from the area serviced by the Armavir division but also from car wash stations in other regions. The circumstances of the incidents are being clarified. The investigation is ongoing.
