Accident Occurs on Hasratyan Street Overnight; Injured Persons Hospitalized

On December 10, at 01:35, the emergency services received a report that an accident had occurred on G. Hasratyan Street in Yerevan, involving two vehicles and trapping several citizens.

Two emergency response teams from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan headed to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred at the intersection of G. Hasratyan and Shiraz streets between a 'Toyota Camry' (driver: Hrach H.) and a 'Mitsubishi Eclipse' (driver: Sudhakar K. S. from India, born in 1999).

Before the rescuers arrived, a passenger of the 'Mitsubishi Eclipse' (also from India, Muskan K., born in 2001) was extracted from the vehicle by local forces. Rescuers managed to remove the driver from the car and escorted him to the ambulance. The injured were hospitalized at the 'Armenia' Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as serious but stable.

The rescuers also shut off the gas cylinder valve of the 'Mitsubishi Eclipse' vehicle.
