Truck Slips on the Yerevan-Jermuk Highway

On December 9, at 08:20, the 911 service received a report that a freight truck was stuck in the snow on the road leading to the village of Gndevaz in the Vayots Dzor region.

A firefighting-rescue team was dispatched from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene. It was determined that a Scania truck, driven by Levon M., had slipped on the highway at the 13th kilometer of the Yerevan-Jermuk road, blocking traffic in one direction.

The rescuers have cordoned off the area. Special equipment is required to remove the vehicle from the road.
