Putin and Macron Hold Bilateral Talks in Paris
Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. The meeting is taking place between the two leaders, but later they may be joined by members of their delegations. This was reported by "RIA Novosti."
It is expected that besides discussing the bilateral agenda, the presidents will also address issues concerning Europe's strategic security. France is the only country that has responded to Putin's proposal regarding a moratorium on medium and short-range missiles in Europe.
Only in 2019 have the leaders of Russia and France met three times. The meeting of the leaders of the "Normandy Four" has started at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
