41.28% Voter Turnout in 16 Communities: CEC Data
The Central Electoral Commission has released data on voter participation rights as of 5:00 PM. According to the report, out of 19,796 eligible voters in 16 communities, 8,172 have participated in the election, representing 41.28%.
The current voting data in the communities are as follows:
- In Norashen community, out of 2,760 eligible voters, 1,251 voted, which is 45.33%.
- In Taperakan community, out of 3,072 eligible voters, 1,464 voted, amounting to 47.66%.
- In Alashkert community, out of 1,470 eligible voters, 516 participated, or 35.10%.
- In Tziatchan community, out of 921 eligible voters, 63 voted, leading to 6.84%.
- In Ferik community, out of 347 eligible voters, 110 or 31.70% participated.
- In Norapat community, out of 1,820 eligible voters, 268 participated, which is 14.73%.
- In Avan community, out of 678 eligible voters, 403 voted, accounting for 59.44%.
- In Zarinja community, out of 479 eligible voters, 174 participated, equating to 36.33%.
- In Tlik community, out of 127 eligible voters, 14 votes were cast, representing 11.02%.
- In Kosh community, out of 2,322 eligible voters, 1,332 voted, amounting to 57.36%.
- In Hako community, out of 149 eligible voters, 32 or 21.48% participated.
- In Ddmashen community, out of 1,912 eligible voters, 476 voted, leading to 24.90%.
- In Zovaber community, out of 1,181 eligible voters, 758 participated, representing 64.18%.
- In Antaramut community, out of 247 eligible voters, 114 voted, or 46.15%.
- In Voghjaberd community, out of 747 eligible voters, 483 participated, equating to 64.66%.
- In Anushavan community, out of 1,564 eligible voters, 714 voted, which is 45.65%.
It should be noted that today, December 8th, local self-government elections are being held in 16 communities across Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Gegharkunik, Lori, Kotayk, and Shirak provinces, with 12 being regular elections and 4 being extraordinary elections. Within the mentioned communities, 12 elections are for community leaders, while 4 are for council members.
