«Hraparak». Serge Sargsyan's Passport Has Been Taken, Preventing His European Visits
«Hraparak» newspaper reports: «The criminal case initiated against Serge Sargsyan was not only related to the Karabakh process but also to the recent activities of the third president, the visit to Zagreb, and the subsequent geopolitical segment,» stated a source from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
It turns out that several European visits were planned for Serge Sargsyan in the near future, including one to Russia. These visits were meant to be a continuation of the Zagreb trip, which the RPA considered important.
The matter is that when charges are brought against individuals and a preventive measure is chosen, the investigative body takes their passport, and they are no longer allowed to leave the republic. We were informed that Serge Sargsyan's passport has also been taken away.
