Details: Serzh Sargsyan Rushes to Melik Adamyan After SCC Appointment
The newspaper 'Past' reports that when news spread yesterday that Serzh Sargsyan had been summoned by the Special Investigative Service (SCC), which was followed by rumors that he could also be charged, numerous people began gathering at the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) central office, visibly anxious. However, as noted by one of our sources, they were not overly demoralized.
The RPA members were waiting there for Sargsyan. According to our sources, when Sargsyan returned to the office and saw the large gathering, he smiled and joked, saying, 'What are you all doing here? I'm still here; I'm not planning to go anywhere.'
The third president had a rather combative mood and was by no means downcast. We also have information that the RPA office was 'buzzing' until late at night, both due to the crowd and the general working atmosphere.
Our source claims that the RPA members stayed at the office until late evening, which prompted Sargsyan to express his frustration, saying, 'Why aren't you all going home? You should all get back to your business.'
However, the RPA members continued to remain at Melik Adamyan. At that moment, Sargsyan declared, 'In that case, I will be the first to leave,' and he was indeed the first to exit the RPA central office, after which the rest of them dispersed as well.
